Senior Girls So ball
On Friday we played against Croydon Park PS. We had missed the last few weeks of games due to the weather and were a little rusty at the start with but soon enough we able to get some runs on the board.
Croydon Park have been tough opponents in the past and they were proving tough again with a great pitcher and some big hitters but we stuck in there and had a fun day. Although we lost 15 - 7, Viktoria and Angie combined for some quality outs and Layla made some great plays from right eld. Chantel fielded well all day.
Some of the girls are missing our final two games due to School Spectacular so it was a special and somewhat sad day for the team as it was the last me they will all play together.

Junior Girls T-ball
Last Friday, the Junior Girls T-ball Team played a close and exhilaraing game against Croydon Park PS. It was so close, with both teams clearly determined to win! Unfortunately, we fell short of a win with a final score of 21-17.
After the girls congratulated Croydon Park PS, they walked off the field smiling! Intrigued, I asked the girls how they were feeling and they began reflecting on the game; beginning to tell me and each other the skills they had improved on, useful techniques they noticed by the other team and what we need to do next me to improve. They then started reflecting on our Round 4 game against the same team in Term 1 and I proudly watched as they spoke about how much we had improved since the last game in skill level, fielding, batting technique, communication and overall teamwork!
I am so proud of you girls! You demonstrated maturity, resilience and a growth mindset I am hon- oured to be your coach! The message, never give up!
