P&C Meeting next week
You haven’t missed our first P&C meeting for 2019, the AGM and first meeting will be held next Monday the 18th of March at 7pm.
There is always a lot happening at Homebush West PS and one of the best ways to find out about programs and plans is to join the P&C.
Joining the P&C, hearing from the Principal, meeting other parents and having an opportunity to ask questions is an easy way to get involved in your children’s learning.
Parental involvement in children’s learning is beneficial. Harvard University research* shows it leads to better educational, social, and emotional outcomes for children. In addition, Australian Research Alliance for Children & Youth (ARACY) research** demonstrates parental involvement contributes to overall student positive attainment, behaviour and attendance at school.

Some members of the 2018 Executive Team will be in The Hub from 6:30 if you’d like to arrive a little early to have a cup of tea and meet some other parents before the meeting starts.
