Regional Swimming Carnival Success!

On Tuesday the 19th March, two Homebush West Students made their way to Sydney Olympic Park to compete in the annual Regional School Swimming Championships. Claire competed in the highly competitive 12 year old 50m free style event. She was amazing and her time placed her in the top 20, coming in at nineteenth place! August overcame his nerves and stood on the blocks for the 13 year old 50m free style event. He swam his personal best and qualified for the State swimming championships! It was great to see the proud parents supporting their child. The school and community wish August all the best in the State swimming carnival.
