Our Stage 1 and Stage 2 Swimming Program commences on Friday. We are proud that we have 100% participation across Stage 1. This valuable program will support students to acquire vital skills to survive in water. The program has been designed within the context of the alarming fact that drowning is the second-leading cause of injury-related death for children less than 14 years old. In addittion, this program authentically provides our students with many transferable skills, including resilience, determination, confidence and team encouragement. We are grateful to the organising committee led by Mr Fung, Miss Saad and the Administration team. The Parent Learn to Swim Program at Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre will commence in Term 2, coordinated by our School Chaplain, Mrs Prouty.
