National Simultaneous Storytime

HWPS will once again participate in National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS), which will be held on Wednesday 22nd May at 11am throughout Australia.  This is an annual event that aims to encourage more young Australians to read and enjoy books. Now in its 19th successful year, it aims to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children's book. 

 

This year’s book is "Alpacas with Maracas" by Matt Cosgrove. All classes will be listening to the story at 11.00am on Wednesday 22nd May.
