Walk Safely to School Day

We commend our Walk Safely to School Day participants who joined our community with what was an outstanding demonstration of our school ethos of student-centred collaborative connectedness, valuing and engaging every student and promoting lifelong skills that make a difference. Deep thanks Ms Kanakakis and the Walking School Bus team who led the way. A special mention to the 62 students and 12 staff members who came to school at 7am in the morning to participate in a media event about the day. Whilst the media event did not take place, these outstanding school citizens took it in their stride and generated local social media content that made us very proud. It was lovely to see parents and community members getting involved and sharing in the positivity of Walk Safely to School Day.
