We’re thrilled with the wonderful day our teachers and the Swimming Carnival Team facilitated.
They ran three pools;
· Competition Pool
· Intermediate Pool
· Non Swimmers Pool
The students in each of these pools had great success. We are so proud that as a school we are improving the number of students who can swim!!!! We had some swimmers who moved from complete fear of the water last year, to swimming in and winning completion swims in the 50m pool.
Congratulations to our parents who have committed to our ‘every child learns to swim’ policy, to our P&C who have strongly supported this endeavour to the teachers who have championed this program and to the students who have embraced water safety and success. Congratulations and thank you to the 2020 Swim Team; Mr Fung, Mrs Tuazon, (co-ordinators) Ms Joseph, Mrs Doan, Ms Alam, Ms Kopus and Mrs Molloy.
