A warm welcome to a dynamic year of teaching and learning at Homebush West Public School where the innovations and possibilities that a new year bring great excitement and opportunity.
This week across the school students are settled and engaged; our Learning 2 Learn conferences are well underway; the mystery gift in the playground is being explored and discussed; our educational vision and purpose is visible and evident; and teachers continue to ensure that every student, especially our Kindergarten students experience a nurturing, engaging start to their educational journey this year.
Students from Year 1 to Year 6 are currently in ‘rotating transition groups’ working with each of the teachers in their Stage team to ensure that we optimise the learning groups in our co-teaching settings. All students in every stage complete a common, core program and syllabus and our teachers deliver the learning as a collaborative team.
We are very proud of the collabora on and professionalism that is deeply embedded into our school culture and we look forward to an exciting year of teaching and learning in our contemporary learning environments.
