Last week was NAIDOC Week 2020, and we were celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander achievement, culture, history, and connection to country with the theme; Always Was, Always Will Be, with more information within this issue we note that Jermaine in Stage 2, our School Leaders and Mrs Casey hosted an excellent virtual assembly. We are proud to have students and staff from Indigenous backgrounds lead and share within our school. Our thanks to the NAIDOC team; Mrs Casey, Miss Byrne, Miss Xanikos, Mr Vagne, Ms Kanakakis and Mrs Roberts for facilitating a memorable event and contributing to our NAIDOC learning as a school community.
